How to make Homemade pizza and Pizza dough

 Ingredients:

For the dough:

  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cups warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil



For the sauce:

  • 1 can (28 oz) whole peeled tomatoes, drained
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste


For the toppings:

  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Desired toppings (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, peppers, onions, etc.)



Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add the warm water and olive oil, and stir until the mixture forms a shaggy dough.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-10 minutes, until it is becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a towel or fabric, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, or until it has doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  6. In a blender or food processor, puree the drained tomatoes, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper until smooth.

  7. Roll out the dough on a floured surface according to your desired thickness and shape.
  8. Place the dough on a greased pizza pan or on the baking sheet.
  9. Spread the tomato sauce over the dough randomly, leaving a small border around the edges.
  10. Add the desired toppings and sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the pizza bread.
  11. Bake the pizza for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust becomes golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  12. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving your homemade amazing pizza.
